Irwin Medical Training Presents Dave Irwin's ECG Roadshow

Electrocardiogram (ECG) acquisition and interpretation is both an art and a science! While our content is grounded in solid evidence base, we still believe that this topic can be made interactive, enjoyable and memorable for all levels with a variety of methods!

Our traditional courses have previously been offered in an “in-person” format.
Since 2020, the #ECGroadshow has moved to an online method of course delivery.
This has been primarily in response to COVID-19 public health measures but has also allowed our clients to enjoy learning from the comfort of their own homes, with live discussion, interactive case reviews and recorded playback for those working frontline.

Who should attend?

Our courses are open to anyone who feels that they may benefit from either; gaining new knowledge, or refreshing their foundations of ECG acquisition and interpretation.

Previous students have included;
Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, Advanced Paramedics, Nursing Students, Registered General Nurses, Medical Students, Medical Interns, NCHD’s and General Practitioners, but is not limited to these grades!

Book your place on one of our ECG courses below.

"Had a fantastic experience at the ECG1 course over the weekend. Dave is a fantastic instructor, and was able to tailor his instruction to allow both ECG newbies and experienced professionals an equal opportunity to benefit. Will be back for ECG 2 In future!"

Oisin O'Neill, Nurse Intern

" I was lucky enough to get one of the last spots on the ECG1 course yesterday and I can honestly say it was a great way to spend a Saturday. Dave knows the subject inside out and gets it across easily to all levels without missing a beat...Boom Boom, couldn't resist. Looking forward to ECG2 already. "

Declan Cunningham, Paramedic Intern

" I attended the ECG1 course at the weekend and found it excellent. The content is suited to all levels, whether new to the world of 12 lead ECGs or refreshing your knowledge and skills. Dave's approach to teaching means the content is well explained and I came away feeling more confident with my knowledge and picked up some great tips for working on the road. Looking forward to ECG2. "

Claire Barker, Paramedic

" Attended ECG 2 yesterday. This is an excellent course. Great pace and delivery. It’s pitched well for all levels ensuring no one gets left behind. I learned so much from the day and really looking forward to the next one." (Noreen Mc Shea, Paramedic)
"Completed ECG 1 and booked on to ECG 2. Brilliant course, well taught and interesting. Would recommend it to anyone in pre-hospital care, nursing or medicine. "

Katie Deevy, ED Nurse

" I attended ECG 1&2. Two classes with Dave simplified my understanding of many things ECG which seemed daunting before, and cemented what I did know firmly, correcting quite a few bad habits. I'd honestly consider going back for round 2, the notes are solid, and it's delivered in a fun way that keeps your attention throughout. And he gave us chocolate. "
